Rhinegeist Hanson Fails Test, Hanson Gets 80-Game Suspension:
BNN Breaking News
After his failed drug test was announced by the league, Cincinnati Rhinegeist second baseman Chris Hanson immediately scheduled a press conference.
"I made one mistake, and now I've tested positive," he told reporters. "It was just a bad decision I made one night, and now I'll face the consequences." The consequences are a 80-game suspension.
Hanson made clear that his suspension was not for using performance-enhancing drugs. "I don't go near that stuff," he said. Hanson refused to identify the drug that led to his positive test.
