CBL News: Draft Pool Revealed: The deadline has passed for players to declare for the first-year player draft. Champions Baseball League officials have released a list to all teams with players who can be chosen on draft day. Teams now have a chance to scout the draft pool for 60 days before the draft is held.The Transactions page of the BNN site has been updated to provide everyone a glimpse at the youngsters hoping to become the next baseball legends.
The top players available (in no particular order) seem to be:
1. Bartold Bravenboer, 19 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
2. Po-fu Wei, 21 year-old left fielder out of college.
3. Forrest Tyler, 18 year-old catcher out of high-school.
4. Juan Jaramillo, 18 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
5. Pablo Rodríguez, 23 year-old starting pitcher out of college.
6. Cipriano Díaz, 22 year-old left fielder out of college.
7. Maurice Fullard, 20 year-old starting pitcher out of college.
8. Eppe Koopman, 21 year-old starting pitcher out of college.
9. Dai-lin Wang, 18 year-old starting pitcher out of high-school.
10. Jorge Gutiérrez, 21 year-old shortstop out of college.
